007 - Ohayo, Toronto!

One of the most satisfying moments in life when visiting others is finding out that they have the same shampoo that you use back home. One of the saddest moments that follows is the realisation that the bottle of shampoo is effectively empty. I would describe Saturday as a pretty awesome day. It's the day that Ben took on the city of Toronto. Only before I could take on T-Dot, I had to warm up at a picnic event going on in the Brampton side of things. There was badminton and barbecue - but the barbecue was really strange. We thought that it was for lunch, but turns out that they were planning to have it much later... there was a lunch, but the main awesomeness that is chicken - was to be served after Prashanta and I were to leave. There was badminton, egg relay races, and other fun kinds of activities. Prashanta was climbing trees like a monkey. He's pretty monkey-like. 006 - Cooped Up

Pictures: Chickens! My aunt has a whole bunch of chickens roaming around. One was curious about my camera. My aunt (who doesn't have chickens) and I in the car on the way to Toronto. Etch-A-Sketch provided some entertainment along the way. Glass in a rest/food stop area along the way. Driving into Toronto at sunset. So, I've almost finally made it to Toronto! I'm in Brampton right now, a city in the Greater Toronto Area. We left home later than I expected, but made pretty good time on the way here. My original plans to leave Friday morning and return home on Monday didn't quite pan out, so I was (and am) grateful that my aunt, who along with my other aunt and mom is going to Niagara Falls, was able to give me a ride here. I thought I had properly communicated that I would need to be picked up in Toronto on their way back, but that didn't quite pan out, so for a moment I thought I'd be stuck here forever!
