Pictures: Chickens! My aunt has a whole bunch of chickens roaming around. One was curious about my camera. My aunt (who doesn't have chickens) and I in the car on the way to Toronto. Etch-A-Sketch provided some entertainment along the way. Glass in a rest/food stop area along the way. Driving into Toronto at sunset.

So, I've almost finally made it to Toronto! I'm in Brampton right now, a city in the Greater Toronto Area. We left home later than I expected, but made pretty good time on the way here. My original plans to leave Friday morning and return home on Monday didn't quite pan out, so I was (and am) grateful that my aunt, who along with my other aunt and mom is going to Niagara Falls, was able to give me a ride here. I thought I had properly communicated that I would need to be picked up in Toronto on their way back, but that didn't quite pan out, so for a moment I thought I'd be stuck here forever! But then a few minutes ago, I booked a train ticket, so I'll be heading home on Tuesday. I've only taken the train twice before, one time on a Via Rail field trip in kindergarten (for fun?) and once the steam train ride in/to Wakefield (it's an attraction in a nearby town). So this should prove to be the most fun anyone can have in a 4-hour period.

Moving on, I'm excited to see Toronto Proper tomorrow! The weather will be nice, and since I'm coming back to Brampton, I don't have to lug around my bag and laptop and clothes and the like. I might not get a blog in tomorrow, but for sure I'll have stories to tell! Oh and Prashanta is in my room with his pants nearly off. I'm supposed to be enjoying it, but somehow spellchecking sounds a lot more enjoyable.

And I must also blog about Amanda, so she gets a shout-out. Hey Amanda!
